A tragic incident in Austria is under active investigation after authorities confirmed the death of a 38-year-old woman under suspicious circumstances.
The woman was found in the yard of a residential property, suffering from serious head injuries, according to initial reports from local media. Police have identified the main suspect as her husband, although the two were reportedly no longer living together at the time of the incident.
He has since been taken into custody. The case unfolded on Sunday evening around 18:30 in Sooß, a municipality in the Baden district of Lower Austria.
Investigators believe a blunt object may have been used, but official confirmation is still pending as the inquiry continues. Reports indicate that the victim was a Serbian-Kosovar citizen, while the suspect is described as an Austrian national with roots in Kosovo.
